Quick answer
Withdrawals are usually rejected because the receiving account is not in your name, your account is not verified, a bonus rule has not been met, the amount is outside the limits, or the bookmaker suspects a breach of its terms such as multiple accounts. Usually the money returns to your betting balance and you can fix the problem and try again.

Rejected is not the same as lost
When a withdrawal is rejected or cancelled, most bookmakers return the money to your betting balance. Check your transaction history before panicking. If the money is not back in your balance and not in your wallet, contact the bookmaker's support with the reference number.
Common reasons and fixes
| Reason | What it means | How to fix it |
|---|---|---|
| Name mismatch | The EcoCash, InnBucks or bank account is not in the same name as the betting account | Withdraw to an account registered in your own name |
| Account not verified | ID or proof of address still needed | Upload clear, valid documents (see verification problems) |
| Different method from deposit | Some bookmakers only pay out to a method you deposited with | Withdraw using the same method you used to deposit, where possible |
| Bonus rules not met | Wagering requirement, minimum odds or expiry not satisfied | Read the bonus terms; some bonuses are forfeited when you withdraw early |
| Below minimum or above maximum | Amount outside the withdrawal limits | Change the amount or split it over days if allowed |
| Wrong number or account details | Typo in the phone number or account | Correct the details; contact support if money went to the wrong account |
| Suspected rule breach | Multiple accounts, using someone else's details, irregular betting | Contact support in writing and ask for the specific rule and evidence |
Rules we have seen in bookmaker terms
Bookmakers write different rules, but these appear often in the terms we have checked:
- Only one account per person is allowed.
- Payments go only to an account in the customer's name.
- Verification documents can be required before withdrawals, especially large ones.
- Un-wagered deposits may carry a handling fee when withdrawn.
- Bets placed from restricted countries or through a VPN may be voided.
Always read the terms of your own bookmaker, because the details differ.
If you think the rejection is wrong
- Ask the bookmaker, in writing (email or in-app chat), which rule was applied and why.
- Provide any documents they need.
- Keep all screenshots, bet slips and transaction records.
- If you are not satisfied, follow the bookmaker's complaints process and, if needed, escalate. See how to report a bookmaker complaint.
Summary
Most rejections are fixable: use an account in your own name, complete verification, follow bonus rules and stay within limits. If you believe a rejection is unfair, ask for the reason in writing and keep records.
